CARE & COLOURFASTNESS
HOW TO CARE FOR NATURAL DYED GARMENTS OR FABRIC WITH NATURAL FIBER?
Well-cared garments are a true reflection of how you consider and perceive our brand, our environment, and our future. This is simply because each clothing piece is valued, each step taken in the caring process is careful and considered, and the whole thing makes us more mindful from the get-go.

THE CLEANING PROCESSING
Here are the steps we normally apply to all our natural-dyed garments.
1. Handwash with cold/lukewarm water (<40°C or 104°F) and mild or PH-neutral Eco-friendly detergent, separated with other garments.
2. Do not bleach.
3. Hang to Dry in shade.
4. Iron or steam in medium to high heat.(medium for knitted fabric, medium to high to woven fabric)
*Tips: Hot water may open the fibre and let the dye release from the fabric. Tumble dry will remove excess moisture in the fibre. Natural dye is susceptible to sunlight.

WHAT IS COLOURFASTNESS?
Colourfastness is how long the dye will bone to the fibres of the clothing and stay on it after being (a lot of) washed and exposed to sunlight before they begin to fade. Natural dye has relatively lower colourfastness compared to synthetic dye, but the types of natural dyes and the method for applying dyes we used are meant to last long. You might see some colour bleeding in your first couple of washes. It is normal, don't worry, It is just some unfixed small particles in the fibre.

HOW LONG DO NATURAL DYES COLOUR LAST?
The short answer is more than 1000 years, but depends on how you take care of them, by cleaning them the way we suggest and storing them away from sunlight.
